Oct 12, 2011 9:23 PM in response to froobielooby jimmyjame,Hi,
I am running into the same issues on my end.
I am putting it down to iCloud server's having issues with Windows Clients or general issues. The othe is Windows Firewall however still haven't found a fix.
I am waiting patiently but it's getting annoying but have to remember it's just come out of Beta so some issues are still going to occur.

Oct 12, 2011 9:39 PM in response to froobielooby Roadkill123456,I am also having problems logging into the iCloud control panel. I get a message saying my Apple ID is valid but not an iCloud account.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Oct 12, 2011 9:43 PM in response to Roadkill123456by jimmyjame,Go to www.icloud.com sign in and it will ask you if you would like to move to iCloud click OK and it will take you through the process
However Apple's server's are under stress and so there is going to be a long wait for them to settle down.

Oct 13, 2011 2:41 AM in response to froobielooby michele angelo,Hi
I’ve the same problem, but I think it came from proxy server settings. In fact, I’ve noticed that icloud service try to go out across another port and it don’t ask me user id and password of my proxy. Besides, while the setup, the icloud installer don’t ask me proxy settings of my net.
Know someone any solution to this problem? How do I let recognize the proxy to the installer/program?
Thanks
Michele

Oct 13, 2011 11:49 AM in response to froobielooby eagle4031,I was able to sign in to the iCloud control panel on my windows 7 laptop. However, on my vista desktop I put my id and pw in and hit sign in and it just continues with the busy circle. Is this due to the overload of the servers or is there a setting messed up on my desktop. I had no problem with mobile me prior to switching.

Oct 14, 2011 9:42 AM in response to dgbielsaby a2bucks,Tried both of these and neither worked. Seems like this is mostly a problem with 64-bit systems. I also had iTunes problems that seemed to affect only 64-bit systems. I think this is an Apple problem. Any other solutions?

Oct 14, 2011 12:53 PM in response to Roadkill123456by Seattle Web Guru,You need to convert it first at iCloud.com. But iCloud.com will only allow you to do it from a Mac or iPhone.
