Jul 13, 2011 7:08 PM in response to walkerwrby mozark13,Here is what I found as a work around. Go to your app store settings in iPhone then select remove this device. It has verbiage that says if you remove device apps will no longer be available.

Jul 13, 2011 7:24 PM in response to mozark13by mozark13,my previous post doesn't work. last night it was fine. Today it's back like a rash. I too would like to know where the cloud icon is. I have been to me.com as well and don't see it.

Jul 17, 2011 9:27 PM in response to walkerwrby MaestroY,Not being able to delete apps from iCloud is insane. What if I'm married and my wife looks at the "not on my iphone" section of the app store and finds out I've used an e-dating app? What then?
The right to marital infidelity is my God-given right as an American!

Aug 18, 2011 6:45 AM in response to walkerwrby Lancefromcroydon,Apple have to sort this out, some users will have hundreds if not thousands of apps, this will make it unusable if you can't delete from the cloud! Also, here is an idea, apple can collect the data of apps that have been deleted and rank them accordingly, this is will be better than their current ranking system, as let's face it, most of us buy apps almost blind. Even with good reviews you still never sure if it's going to work for you until you have tried it. Showing a deletion ratio, I recon will be useful to us!

Sep 30, 2011 11:02 AM in response to walkerwrby chriso3030,@RyanN96 I don't really believe that you'll go through the trouble to switch phones for this, iCloud is not even really fully available to access yet, you don't know what kind of control you'll have over the old apps. I'm sure you'll be able to delete apps once ios5 and icloud are officially released. I even read that it looks like we'll be able to finally merge 2 apple id's.
So stop being such a whiner, it's not like apple reads these threads and if they do, they're not going to be intimidated by your empty threat to leave them.

Oct 23, 2011 11:53 AM in response to walkerwrby maurício75,I don't think that there will ever be a delete option to unused apps. That's the way apple found to make you buy "more space". Sorry that's why apple is what it is today. iCloud is a great idea, a neat concept but both my backups alone occupiy most of my iCloud free space thus forcing me to get more space to safeguard my "e-mobile-life". Dance the iMusic folks!

Oct 24, 2011 1:10 PM in response to walkerwrby larsfromomaha,You know you can just swipe to delete them, right? In the purchases section of the App Store app you can just swipe your finger from right to left across the name of the app that you don't want to see. A red "hide" button then appears and when you click it the app will no longer appear in the list. I use it to get rid of any past junk Or free app that I never plan on downloading to my phone again. Hope this helps.

Oct 29, 2011 12:41 PM in response to Lancefromcroydonby thierry_p,There is a way to delete them, kind of hidden behind a lot of screens ->
Settings > iCloud > storage &backup > manage storage > "YOUR_DEVICE_NAME_HERE" > show all apps
From there you can see the ones with the largest file sizes. You can unselect as appropriate
Got the details from: http://www.ipadforums.net/icloud/49990-icloud-delete-apps-2.html
