Did you try to delete the account and set up new again in Settings/iCloud?

This is a server glitch due the migration from MobileMe. Lots are reporting it. Apple has to fix the mailserver.

I also want to change the name used with my iCloud mail account. My Apple I.D. and iCloud account names are both correct, but my mail is still showing up as coming from the original name. I see your message was posted 5 months ago so I assume Apple would have fixed the "server glitch" by now.
I had assumed that there was a setting that I need to change, but I can't see where?

Log in with your Apple ID and you can change it to what ever you'd like it to be.

So, to be clear, I had the same issue and no matter what I tried I was not able to "change" the AppleID associated with my iCloud account.
What I did to fix it was go into my iCloud settings and deleted the account then reopened with my updated AppleID account.

I tried this but it won't let me delete the account without the password which cannot be located or changed!

I'm having the same issue as Kimberlyjane7. My iCloud on my computer is correct, iTunes is correct, but the iCloud keeps staying associated with an old email, so any password I try won't work. And, if you try to delete the account, you have to have the iCloud password to do it, so that doesn't work either. This is just on my iPhone (iPhone 5, iOS 7). Any suggestions???
