Oct 14, 2011 6:19 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby GretchenS,I noticed the same thing. It shows up on my iPad, and computer, but not iCloud. It is a subscription, and is listed under "other." I would like it to appear in iCloud.

Oct 14, 2011 6:33 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby Negative Entropy,I have the same issue. All is well on iPad & iMac. I suspect that the Birtdays featire is (not yet) available via iCloud.com. The birtdays appear on the iCloud address-book however! Note my post asking for confirmation.

Oct 16, 2011 8:09 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby FeelMyBass,Interesting that some of you report iMac being ok. I'm using Calendar on MBP, and my contacts' birthdays keep disappearing every time it syncs w iCloud. If I log in to iCloud.com I check the Birthday calendar but no result.
iPhone calendar is ok
Hey Apple, any guidance here please?

Oct 16, 2011 8:28 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby k.alexander,Same problem here.
I started a post about it here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3385021
I've got a Express Lane Case # 251818154 Support Request open with Apple, and after 4 days theyre telling me they can't track down e problem and they can't reproduce it with anyone else. Funny b/c my wife's acct is having an identical problem. PLEASE ALL: contact apple, maybe even reference my case # above, if enough people complain, maybe this issue will actually get addressed. And, btw, the birthdays did show up in e Birthdays Calendar on iCloud.com for a little bit, before disappearing.

Oct 16, 2011 9:03 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby AGriffin89,I'm having a similar issue. I've found that one birthday in August 2012 is synching to iCloud! So annoying!

Oct 16, 2011 11:43 PM in response to Anna Sandhamby AGriffin89,I take it back, today all the birthdays seem to be synched to iCloud. I think maybe it just takes a few hours to update.

Oct 17, 2011 1:12 AM in response to Anna Sandhamby Negative Entropy,Everything is now working correctly. After a very careful second look, I found a checkbox in the iCal configuration menu that switches birtdays on and off. The menu is accessed via the "cobwheel icon top-left). After checking this all birthdays now load correctly: there was a delay of a minute or so for iCloud to fetch the requested data.
Those with large data volumes on their iPad should note that the first backip can take many hours. In my case (with a 64GB device almost full of applications, videos & photographs) it look around 36 hours! The second backup was very quick, however, so the mechanism is evidently incremental and (by the speed pretty smartly indexed.
