Q: Not sufficient room to downloading ios5 in first HD in chain on computer
The error message in iTunes says when you try to install iOS5 on eith iPhone or iPad:
Continuing will result in the loss of all media on this iPhone
Cancel or Continue
This is because the installer is trying to access the first partition of my HD which holds ONLY the system. I have at least 200Gb free on other partition of HD but there seems no option to store the backup of my iPhone on any other HD. The first partition is chosen by default.
The problem therefore is - not sufficient room on first HD which contains as I said only the system folder even though the computer has two other internal HD with over 200 Gb of free space. Obvious I therefore cannot free up space on the first HD at all or the computer will not work!
Question - how do I get the backup of my iPhone / iPad to be directed to one of the other HDs. For example the HD where iTunes folder is stored has plenty of free space left. Why does the installer do the backup there? Is this a bug?
