Oct 18, 2011 12:07 PM in response to janicefromcarlsbadby kinoulton,Me too. Windows Vista 32 bit, new itunes update, new software update on iPod touch. If I enter my correct Apple id and password into the iCloud control panel for windows I just get the spinning 'busy' icon. If I enter an incorrect id I get an immediate error message.

Oct 18, 2011 12:46 PM in response to froobielooby szynda,Yes, I am experiencing the same issue of getting an endless spinner upon login to iCloud from my Windows 7 32-bit PC. I get no error message even after letting it spin for 6 hours. I too have reinstalled iCloud PC and run the suggested "netsh winsock reset". Nothing seems to work. I don't even think the login credentials are leaving my machine beacuse if I put in the incorrect password, it does not come back with an invalid login error. I think the application is reaching out to a destination that does not exist and waits endlessly for a response. Would appreciate other suggestions.

Oct 18, 2011 4:38 PM in response to froobielooby jimmyb30_ohio,OMG EVERYONE! ok...try this...but 1st let me explain!! Problem MAY be with BONJOUR!!!!
I'm on PC w. Win7-64 bit and have an iPod Touch 4G
After great pains, got iOS 5 installed. However, my ipod wouldn't sync with itunes when on the Itunes summary for my ipod under BACKUP it was selected: Back up to this computer. Also, despite clicking "enable wifi sync" the wifi sync also did not work. HOWEVER, I found that my ipod completed a sync when under BACKUP it was selected: Back up to iCloud.
So, with that problem dead ended i turned to messing around with iCloud. Created my iCloud using my apple ID fine. After my first initial iCloud back up taking 4 hours or so, I completed an iCloud back up from my ipod. But last got to wondering...where are all my photo roll pics (800+) and notes etc going since i turned on photostream etc. I messaged a friend through the new messenger and he wondered to. I sign into ICLOUD.COM ok but there you only have the email, calendar, find my ipod and iWork! SOOOO he looked into it and said are you signing into iCloud control panel on your pc!? I was like WHAT???
So, i know this is long story...lol...but I'M EXCITED. I didn't know u needed that. I installed it. And despite it supposing to start after installer finished or me going into pc control panel and clicking it, it wouldn't open. So i uninstalled...rebooted...reinstalled...itunes cloed out now...and the sign in came up.
But as most of you here were getting...i got the CAN'T SIGN IN DUE TO SERVER ERRORS.
So, tried again tonight and same thing. This lead me to all your posts here. So, I tried the winsock thing. But never rebooted my computer. As I got frustrated and let my laptop sit...but plugged in my ipod to try and troubleshoot the syncing with itunes issue SOMETHING HAPPENED THAT NEVER HAPPEND BEFORE!!!
As iTunes was trying to auto open, and error square popped up. IT WAS ABOUT BONJOUR! Said it needed to be restarted in the CONTROL PANEL --> ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS ---> SERVICES. So I went there and it said it was started but i RESTARTED IT!
LOW AND BEHOLD, MY ICLOUD SIGNS IN NOW AND my iPOD SYNCS TO ITUNES CORRECTLY!
I have no idea if this is a fix but PLEASE TRY AND POST YOUR EXPERIENCES!!!!! Mind you i also did the winsock thing too. So, others posted they tried that and it didn't fix their signing in issu!!!

I tried your suggestions in variious combinations and nothing worked. I still get the spinnter when trying to login to iCloud PC. I turned of my virus checker, uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud PC, run the netsh winsock reset, rebooted, restarted the bonjour. Nothing seems to get me into iCloud PC>

Oct 18, 2011 7:07 PM in response to szyndaby jimmyb30_ohio,Oh darn it. I WAS SO HOPING THIS WOULD SOLVE PEOPLES ISSUES. Cuz i swear once that new error message pooped up and i did that...EVERYTHING HAS FALLEN INTO PLACE with iCloud PC Control panel and all my itunes sync issues..including true, automatic wifi and completely wioreless wifi syncing!
BUT, NOW I can't get my photo stream cleared like they said on iCloud.com. Keeps saying this time that "unable to reset photo stream at this time due to server error. try again later" AHHHHHH when will this end'
Anyone get there photo stream reset??? Any suggestions???
Im sorry this wasn't a fix for you! I really am as i feel your pain and still do. If it helps anyone else please let me...us know?!? Thank u every1 in advance

Oct 18, 2011 10:47 PM in response to froobielooby kennethfromdurban,I was also having a problem trying to login to iCloud control panel. I tried all the other fixes mentioned.
Then I decided to try login to my old MobileMe control panel. Success.... As I logged in in did a migration and now iCloud control panel lets me login.
So if you had a MobileMe account, you have to do the migration in your browser, and then once this is done login to your MobileMe control panel before trying to login to the iCloud control panel, This will do another migration in the control panel and away you go.
Hope this helps
