Duplicate e-mail accounts

I have duplicate e-mail accounts and need to delete off of my phone.  Please help!  It all started after I upgraded the software.

    Delete the duplicate account from your iPhone.

    check your email prefernces.   See accounts?  How many icloud icons are there (I had three and all emails were in triple).  Delete the two extra icloud accounts.

    I'm having the same problem, and can't find any way to delete the extra account. The iPhone settings shows a single iCloud email account. Within the Mailboxes window in Mail, though, the Accounts box shows two iCloud accounts. One has the shiny iCloud icon while the other shows the old MobileMe icon with the clouds and blue sky. That's the one I'd like to get rid of, but I can't find any way to do so.

    Did you manage to find a solution? I have the same problem and can't figure out how to delete away the duplicate iCloud account with the mobileme icon.

    Same with me. A silly glitch, but I don't see how to solve it without deleting everything as turning off the email in the account with the MobileMe icon also turns off the mail in the iCloud account! Advice please, Apple.

    I didn't find a solution. I have simply learnt to live with the duplicate emails on my phone. Rather poor that Apple hasn't bothered to provide a solution.
