iMovie error -49

do you export to an external harddrive?

is, e.g. as an iTunes Sever, somehow a NAS involved in your set-up?

do you store any material on a connected Time Capsule as 'wireless harddrive'?

iM gets a bit iffy when content comes (or goes) to NAS-drives.

on another board, a -49-prob was solved when e.g. music-tracks from the iT-Lib was copied from the NAS to the local drive and THOSE used in iMovie.

I intentionally used the word 'iffy' ... can work, can not work .. 🙂

give it a try, do a quick test with a duplicate of your original Project, swap 'NAS'-files with local ones .....

do you export to 'Desktop' or to some folder ... ?

Turn TimeMachine off and retry the export.

i've got some problem (export HD 1080p movie) after install MacFuse and NTFS drivers, now i'll try remove ntfs

Turn the time machine off. It will work. Try it.

I agree. With OSX 10.7.4 and iMovie '11 I finally managed to create a 42 minute project in 720p only after I switched off Time Macine. Thanks to chengke_leo.

I had this problem.

Annoying, when the problem appears at the end af several hours work.

Thanks to this thread and no less chengke_leo, 90 min project was easely made after switching off TimeMashine.
