I have an HP Photosmart 1215, and have installed the drivers and followed all instructions. When it comes to the final adding of the printer, the drivers aren't listed in "More printers..." as the setup program tells me it should be. The printer is recognized by the computer but won't print to it.

I've never had a problem like this before, but I suppose it's because it's an old printer.

Thanks.

My Tiger Install CD apparently is not installing the printer/driver for my Canon
S450 BJ printer. Whenever I try to run the Installer it starts running, than stops
and outputs the message that "an error has occured" and to "please try again". This occurs with all other printers: HP, Brother, Lexmark, etc. The installer will
not install any brand of printer.

The same thing happened with the miniMac that I had and which I returned to the dealer and got a G5 instead.

Try the Printer Setup Utility in the Utilities folder to add the printer.

I'm trying to connect an HP Officejet 7200 via TCP/IP...and every time I click "More printers...", I get "The Printer Setup Utility has unexpectedly quit".
