exactly the same happens to me, since yesterday, october 15th. I guess google changed something in their software that causes the trouble to mac-users. I hope the bug will be found soon!
Maybe it's different with OS Lion? Maybe I'll try...

Have either of you had a resolution to this issue?
My ical connection is still not working, after nearly 24 hours.

the same is happening to me.
All my cals have been syncing just fine. Upgraded my iphone os5. upgraded lion on laptop. And for some reason, now i'm opening ical today and trying to edit, i am suddenly getting URL errors. Also i cannot find a way in the new ical (with lion) to unsubscribe from things.
My iphone seems to be updating ok as it's syncing from the google cal server... but if i want to add or edit anything to my google cals in ical, it's not letting me do anything.
Any ideas anyone ?

I submitted a bug via apple supprt. The feedback I received was:
Yes, this is a known issue google temporarily suspended deleting events to stop a bug that was deleting ALL events after transition to icloud.
So, I'm waiting and patiently using the web calendar.

I'm also having this same issue. I called Apple Care on Tuesday and their operations recommended and executed did not resolve the issue, the problem still exists.
Do we know when the issue will be resolved? Is there a way to be notified when it's fixed?

Can view google calendar first and delegates but can't edit the calendars from the iCal, running iMac OS 10.6.8 with iCal 4.04. The first time the acount is created works perfect until a varible time (30' to 180'), since then works as an only read calendar, the changes in iCal are not sync with th google calendar, however, the changes in the google calendar through the web or the iPhone (iOS5, 3GS) are correctly showed in the iCal.
I hope ther will be a solution soon. Calaboration was working fine.

OK Just did some more testing
I can now read all appointments in ical from my Google Calendar, but am unable to delete any.
I can edit, just not delete.
Upon deleting, I receive the same url error.
I have a MBP 13 inch running 10.7.2 and ical 5.01

My googlecal / ical problem of ERROR seems to have gone now.
However, if i am adding an event in ical (to my google cal), it is uploading to my google cal web cal. it is NOT pushing that to my iphone?!
I have also added events into my iphone cal (to the google cal), and it is not pushing it back the other way. It is not even reaching the google web cal now, let alone the ical.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, storme, still happening here. We have found an event added on the iPhone does not show up on the google calendar webpage (after refreshing) but does sync to the other iPhones! Weird.

Fixed! We discovered one of the new iPhones was set to sync calendars through iCloud as well as google. We turned off that part of iCloud and all is well - for now :-)
