I can access Netflix from my iPad after updating to iOS5 but AppleTV with the new iOS5, Netflix now informs me that Netflix is currently unavailable. I can view anything from iTunes, Vimeo, Podcast & Youtube. I've removed power from AppleTV and restarted, still no luck. Anyone else having issues?

Still working on mine. Have you contacted Netflix?

It's very unlikely to be the ATV that is the issue.

I have the same problem after the iOS5 upgrade.  I constantly get the 'Netflix unavailable' message.  I have tried unplugging / plugging the Apple TV2 and it works occasionally.  I also tried unplugging the ethernet cable from the ATV2 from the AirPort Express, then rebooting the ATV2, then plugging the ethernet cable back and that works occasionally as well.  But everything happened after the upgrade.

I can access everything else, e.g. iTunes movies, YouTube, MobileMe, etc, just can't get to Netflix consistently.

I even switched from OpenDNS to Goolge Public DNS to my local ISP and none of that worked either.  Rebooted the ATV2, Apple Extreme, and Apple Express multiple times.  None of that provided a permananet solution either.

    Could be at Netflix's end.

Could be but all my other devices work without any issues, I.e iPad, iPhone, WIi, Blu-ray player. Guess I'll call Netflix to confirm.

That wouldn't rule it out, same as others who have no issue with this device but have on another.
