Apple MusicLiveType does not have shapes like speech bubbles, but you could make them in Photoshop or Illustrator.
Alternatively, down load this: http://mediamilitia.com/thought-and-speech-bubbles-pack-104-free-vectors-and-ima ges/ Pick the one you want and add text on top.

Thanks for the speedy response, I was worried that was the answer :-) a little shocking to think that Livetype can do all these fancy mattes with text but a simple semi transparant plain back is not part of the package.
I did create one in Photoshop thinking, there has got to be a better way, because now I always need to resize it to the txt I created.
Anyways, at least it was not a simple.." click here " thing.
