Numerous users are experiencing the same issues, and currently as it stands, Apple hasn't signed off for a fix towards it. Some users might've attempted to perhaps restore it as a brand new iPhone 4S with the 800MB file, self downloaded. I've heard that it that it might work a little better then everything else mentioned to some extent. Although I'm putting my confidence into a fix from Apple (perhaps iOS 5.0.2) or maybe some other little minor details that might end up making the biggest of differences. The restore would probably be my last resort. I'm not planning on returning my iPhone 4S. It's on Apple's head to keep products circulating by making sure they work properly, so assumibly they'd be in "panic mode" trying to find an answer so that people continue to support Apple financialy. It's just a matter of playing the waiting game and seeing how long others agree to play or endure it.
