Nov 12, 2011 7:26 PM in response to art_in_motionby bakyelli,I have an iPhone 4S with 5.0.1... Battery life is MUCH worse with this version, and honestly, I didn't really have a huge problem with the 5.0 version. I don't know what to do. It went from 80% to 28% in 3.5 half hours without almost touching the phone.
I hope this gets fixed ASAP because I can't really use my phone anymore. I am also a developer, and I can say that my battery was better with the beta 2 of 5.0.1...
This is very frusturating!

Nov 12, 2011 7:43 PM in response to art_in_motionby theskro,Same issue with me. After upgrade to 5.0.1 my phone will not charge back to 100%. I talked on it for 10 min and it dropped 5%. Hello Apple! What gives here? I wish I could go back to 5.0!

Nov 12, 2011 8:33 PM in response to maxwellkevinby alan74,I've noticed it's draining the battery faster after updating to 5.0.1.
I seem to be having several issues with my iphone 4s.
I have the latest 5th Gen airport extreme and I just updated it to 7.6 the other day.
I'm running Lion 10.7.2 on my iMac i7, on both macbook pro's, ios 5.0.1 on the ipod touch 4th gen, ipad 2 and my iphone 4s. Both my apple TV's are running the latest updates as well. Everything is working perfectly on all devices. My phone is the only issue. I'm dropping from wireless at home constantly and battery is worse since the latest update. I've reset my phone reset the wireless and I can't even connect to wireless with the iphone, but everything else is fine with all the other devices.
Any suggestions?

Nov 12, 2011 9:02 PM in response to art_in_motionby FailedInnocence,Having the same problem as everyone else. I have an iPhone 4 that had iOS 5.0 and never had a problem with battery life, now that I've updated to iOS 5.0.1 the battery life is extremely short! Too bad I didn't see this forum before updating. I wish there was a way to revert back to iOS 5.0

Nov 12, 2011 9:11 PM in response to art_in_motionby HawgWyld,And this, folks, is why it's unwise to update unless you deem it absolutely necessary. While that advice won't help those dealing with this battery issue, some good may come of all this. If the phone is working fine, leave it alone. If you feel you absolutely have to update, check on some forums (such as this one) and read up on the problems others are having before updating. You'll save yourself a lot of aggravation that way.

iPhoneI certainly did not have any problems. It seems to vary user to user for some reason, I would update.
