I waited until iTunes #1 successfully completed iTunes Match activation before activating it on iTunes #2. Once iTunes #2 began its process, I was able to see iCloud entries from #1 on iTunes #2.

My sync finally finished and though I was worried when it started scanning it worked perfectly. Thanks everyone for the responses. Apple got it right. I'm just impatient I guess. My bad.

I have let computer #1 complete the sync process(over a week and a half) and I still can't get my iTunes to show up on comuter #2.
I have turned on Home Sharing thinking this might be the solution. But it wasn't.
When I turn iTunes Match on on #2 it goes through the process but my songs still appear with the " ! " next to them. When I try to play them I get the message saying they can't be found and asking if I would like to locate them.
Can anyone offer any help? I'm at my wits end.

I suggest that you create a new library on your second machine:
- If iTunes is open, quit it.
- Hold down the Option key while you open iTunes.
- In the window that appears, To create a new library, click Create Library.
- Sign into Itunes / Itunes match and run match.
When match is complete, your library will show all your music that is in the cloud. You can stream music or download if you want copies of the music on your second computer.
