That would be too easy, wouldn't it?
It shows up just fine wiht the city I have set previously. Just no real time data and the main panel blank.
LIke I said earlier, every other widvet works but not the weather one. That little *i* button is breathing so there's some life. Just no brain.
Anyone's got a clue?

Good god. How did you get that?!
Are you running 10.5.8 as well?
Any *official comments* from Apple folks here?

checked the config of the widget and clicked on the link (small i on display, link on backside).
error message came up after a failed attempt to find the app...
and yes...still running on 10.5.8

I wonder if the Apple abandoned the 10.5.8?

Give me the Reader's Digest version, please.
How can I make it work on my 10.5.8?

It's a bit of a hack, so you need to feel comfortable fiddling with system files, unfortunately. Also, you will need access to a Snow Leopard or Lion Mac to copy the folder from.
All we're doing is updating the contents of this folder:

So it seems that the Apple did abandoned the Leopard unless the fixes is on the way.
I am not comforablle messing with the code but if you could give me a cut and paste clear direction, I might be able to.

don't know why but the widget works again here...weather data has been confirmed with 2 different services.
