Q: "This accessory not support by iPad" when camera adaptor is plugged in

The  Camera Adaptor use to work with my iPad, however I have not used it for awhile and recently updated to iOS5 and it gives the message "This accessory not support by iPad" when plugged in with or without anything attched to it.

Suggestions needed....

Exactly the Same problem. My Finepix S8000fd had not been seen by my iPad with iOS5 either. The connector is ok. My iPad synchronises with my PC and my Mac.

So it is iOS5. Hope there will be a fix soon. To late for me I'm leaving for a vacation.

It is very funny. I unpluged the Camera connector kit and plugged right in again in the iPad and suddenly the app Photos came up.

Wondering what's happening and see! Photos started to display the content of my Finepix camera. The app asked me to import the pictures. And so I did. During the import the iPad still informed me that the device was not supported by this iPad. Contradictio in terminus. I checked and all of the pictures are on thr photoroll.

There is even a 'Camera' tab in the right hand side of the app menubar.

    Strange things.

Will it work continously? W'll see I let you know.

Can you still proceed with image transfer if you ignore the message?
