Hi everyone, i'm an iphone 2, 3g and 4 user, and soon i will get the 4s too. (yes an apple fan). And i travel alot, so i was looking for a way to control and manage my servers from my iphone. I use managed vps from tmzvps, if this would help. I saw other companies have their own app, like go daddy, u could buy domains and even manage your server,. but i don't want to move my websites.

I'm also thinking to buy ipad 2 only for this servers, as it will be easyer to manage then on a small screen iphone.

I did some searching in appstore, but i found just stat apps (like google analytics). I hoped somebody here could help me find a good one.

Ps: I also found out, that it got alot of 'connection timeout" when it was connected. I have seen other people doing it with their iphones, but they were lucky as their company had made the apps already.

thanks in advance

Take a look at the Prompt app from With it, you can ssh into your remote servers. It supports both DSA and RSA private keys, so you can have effortless yet secure access to your servers (i.e. use PKI credentials instead of passwords, if you want).   Of course, this assumes that your servers provide ssh access, and that you want to manage them over an ssh connection.
