My Siri is not working as well and I get the same message as everyone. I feel dumb trying to show off how cool is this feature and just keep letting me down. I would love to know whats gonna happen now that Steve is gone. Is Appel gonna fell back to where it was once before? Appel and PR people get on gear and don't get too confident. You are spoiling people and we become more dependant in your so inovative technology. Now we don't like not been able to use what we have been offered. I love Appel so don't let me down (quote: there are millions of other people like me)

Thanks for the help. My Siri has been down for a few days. Emptying the cache of open apps and then turning off and on my phone sort of fixed the problem. Siri now works 3 out of 5 times, although it is very slow, even with a full wi-fi connection. It didn't work before after trying many times and at all different times of day.

Go to Settings > General > Siri > Off, wait about 10 seconds.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Your phone will take a few seconds to reboot

Go to Settings > General > Siri, On, wait about 10 seconds.
Hopefully this will solve any network issues.

request an enhancement to apple feedback. That statement should ask for intelligent switching between Siri and native voice control.

Kind of pointelss to use a hands free app and then have to back out of Siri, then go: Settings>General>Siri>Off just to make a hands free call or change the itunes song while driving!

Siri Beta better get Betta soon! Then again, in about a year everyone won't know how they lived without it. Remember the antenna debacle about a year and a half ago... no complaints now with a dual switching antenna!

I think the real thing with apple is that they are not infaliable and most the people blogging aren't the loyal cult that have been here before the intel generation. Apple doesn't make any public statements about things that go wrong or viruses that run amuck. They just make silent updates. If a highly secret company that makes you feel cool isn't working out anymore... the grass is always greener on a HTC, Windows phone, or a Samsung. Been on both sides and I hate to say it, but apple is barley in the lead right now. In the end it is a software preference.

A slight diversion from the SIRI network connection problem ... anyone already heard when Siri will start working properly outside the US ? Over here in Europe, most questions asked to Siri (which typically would require some kind of location services) will result in an answer like "Siri can't provide locations in Belgium / France / ..." ...

I don't think Siri is down, I don't think it's possible for one Siri to be running and the other is down specially if both iphones are in the same location. My Siri is running well if I turn on my wifi but with my 3G it runs erratically. I did not change any settings on my iphone so I dont think the icloud thing would work. Siri started working erratically a few days ago... it can't be down for days right? it's just not right!
