Dec 2, 2011 8:04 AM in response to marwan.essawyby mohabayman,Hey guys i had the same problem and i figured out the solution.
IMessaging from ipad to iphone:
the ipad needs the region to add the country code to the phone number. So u only need to select any region (i used united states) and then use the country code for egypt while entering a number(i.e. +20100*******). And now itll work
IMessaging from ipad to iphone:
Trying to send to an email address will not be allowed (the @ and . characters are intypable) so you will just write down the email address without them... I know it nonsense but in my case i added the email address to a contact and then sent an iMessage to that contact (using his email address), and then i noticed that the iphone removed these characters from the email and sent an imessage normally.
Have fun contacting ur ipads and ipods with other iphones..
Feel free to contact me for any questions
And dont forget to tell me the results ... :)

Oct 20, 2011 2:18 AM in response to mohabaymanby mohabayman,I noticed a typo, the first paragraph is to iMessage from ipad to iphone, the second paragraph is to iMessage from iphone to ipad
I believe these steps will also work on an ipod.

Oct 20, 2011 3:34 AM in response to mohabaymanby mohabayman,Ok forget about adding an email address without the characters, i wont work. Just add an email address to a contact, and then send to that contact using this email address. Note: you cannot write the email address directly in the "to" field. Another important note, trying to write the name of the contact directly in the "to" field for the quick list wont work, as the contact email wont appear; u have to choose the "plus" sign and then choose the contact.
If ur interested to know how to recieve messages on both devices instantly and send from both as well, please contact me
Thank you.

Oct 25, 2011 4:08 AM in response to marwan.essawyby mohabayman,Hi Moataz,
I did not quite understand your question.. i assume you have iMessage working correctly and your asking about how you will be charged... is that true ?!
OK, first of all iMessage is a FREE service, it means all your iMessages (those that appear in a blue bubble) do not charge you for anything, coz they are sent over internet connection (wireless or 3G).
However, there is one case that you WILL be charged for iMessages; if the receiver did not have internet connection, the iMessage will be sent as an SMS (those that appear in a green bubble).
if you want to forbid your iPhone to charge you for your iMessages, i recommend that you turn off the option "send as SMS" in Settions->Messages
