Nov 26, 2011 5:33 PM in response to Carolyne Hallby John De Banzie,Could you make a table with five columns and remove the lines and fills from the centre (third) column, as shown below?
Not an elegant solution, but might work depending on your needs.

Inline Objects are limited to one per line, Floating objects can be posiitoned at will. So, you could change your tables to floating objects, using the Wrap Inspector or the Format Bar. However, if you don't want your tables to be floating objects, you have another route. You can first make both tables Floating and set them side-by-side, select them both at once and then Arrange > Group. Then change the grouped object to Inline.

Jerrold that is not true, you can have as many as you like, they merely have to fit on the line.
It is true however that 2 tables for some reason can not be on the same line. Just another of those Pages quirks.

Sep 4, 2016 8:40 AM in response to PeterBreis0807by Daimaou,Hello, PeterBries0807,
The current version of pages will allow two tables to be on the same line. You just have to click on the Format button, in the top-right corner of Pages (the paintbrush), click on the Arrange tab, then set Text Wrap to be None.

Sep 4, 2016 9:22 AM in response to Daimaouby VikingOSX,Pay attention to the post dates. You responded to a post from 2011 that is an entirely different application (Pages '09), implementation, and solution response, than any release of Pages v5.
I can assure you that Peter knows how to use Pages v5.
