Q: I am getting a shared library error when I try to update appleworks 6. I cannot get appleworks to open at all. Any suggestions?

Could give some more information? System on the computer? Which AW 6 do you refer to? from which AW?

Peggy had a user tip on this problem but unfortunately the link has gone dead. One comment was that the 'Mac OS' folder inside the 'Contents' folder you see when you open the package has got itself renamed to something bizarre.

Thanks for posting that - older posts have links to a file which has been removed, presumably as part of the general Discussions upheaval a few months back.
