Yesterday I went to a HiFi Store and they had both an iPhone3S and an iPhone4s in the Store. We tried AirPlay with a Zeppelin and an AirPlay Denon 720AE. 3GS worked fine 4S connection crashed after a few seconds.

    Now I am 100% sure its a 4S problem.

We have to wait for Apple to fix it.

Lot of replies, so I'm not sure if someone has mentioned this, but:

I had similar problems. I just went and changed the WiFi channel on my router (from whatever it was as default to Channel 1). I'm guessing I was getting interference from someone else's network. Fixed it right up.

I have Comcast Cable Modem/Phone with computers routed via a D-Link DIR-625 and can confirm that the iPhone 4S is crashing my router - totally taking it off line until I unplug it and restart it. It worked a couple days ago and then this crash seems to have set something up so it crashes all the time now.

Very frustrating and I hope Apple has given this a very high priority to fix asap!

The problem is known for over a month now. If Apple wanted to fix it, they would have done it already with iOS 5.0.1.

I don't believe that.... I think it's more complicated and taking a bit more to fix. I hope - otherwise there are going to be a lot of people unhappy with their iPhone 4S's and it's ability to take down their networks in certain circumstances...

A company like Apple, which has enough cash to buy Nokia, RIM, Motorola and HTC should not be able to fix a litte bug in under 6 weeks? Sorry, can't belive that.

Bought the Zeppelin Air over the weekend in the Black Friday sales. Experiencing drop-outs of audio intermittently.

    Network Equipment:

Time Capsule 2 TB - Latest FW - (downstairs)

Airport Express - Latest FW - (upstairs)

    Devices:

Zeppelin Air - Latest FW - (downstairs)

    Ipad2

    Iphone4s *2

    Apple TV

From testing this yesterday, I can confirm that this issue is narrowed down to the Iphone4S and the Zeppelin. All other combinations seem to work without issue.

Yes same problem here. 4GS+Zeppelin not working. Tried several routers... no luck. Called Apple support, had to explain the girl what AirPlay is... ;( Suggested solution: reset network settings. -> didn't help at all.

B&W support just blamed Apple... ;(

The problem is not limited to B&W Zeppelin:

Streaming from 3GS and MBP works flawlessly.

Apple just seeded developers the first beta of a new iOS version 5.1! Cross your fingers! Any devs following this list please update us if see any improvement.

    Hi,

I've got the same probleme here. Here's my setup:

    Airport Extreme router

Brand new B&W Zeppelin Air with latest firmware

    iPhone 4S

but I found a small trick. As I wanna control music through m iPhone, I install "Remote" app and I can control my computer's music to be sent to my B&W zeppelin perfectly. The best thing is that I found out that with "Remote" you could play the same music on several speakers at the same time.

BTW I really hope Apple will fix the iPhone 4S airplay issue soon...

to all of you: If you didn´t already do so please report this bug at http://www.apple.com/feedback !!! The more people are reporting this bug, the hihger is the pressure on apple. They are not looking through all the threads in their forums to collect bug reports...
