Q: Help.. With Remote Install Mac OS X ?

Hey guys... Im trying to install Mac OS X using Remote Install Mac OS X...

When i Press "OPTION" Nothing Shows up..... Just shows a purple background with 2 buttons " REFRESH" & "ARROW"

So My Question is........... Is there a way to use OPEN FRIMWARE to Install Mac osx using an ethernet cable

(I thing i have changed the 1st boot device to usb)

or is there commands for open firm ware which install mac osx using ethernet cable//

HELP ME PLEASE

eMac, Mac OS 8.6 or Earlier

Oh wait, is this an eMac? What version OS X are you trying to install?

i place the mac osx install DVD in windows xp runnning computer... and it opens in BOOT CAMP..
and i can install using ethernet or airport.(something)

Can't be done using the method you describe. eMac will only support proper NetBoot. You need to find another way.
