Thank for quick response.  I can see what is the problem now because last time I really didnt share bootcamp with other virtual machine.

Anyway I already I removed VmWare and I dont mind remove parallel either. But I want to know if you have any suggestion for me in oder to let trackpad++ communicate with bootcamp driver after uninstalling both virtual machines to make sure it dosnt mess up with bootcamp driver.

First of all, please let me restate, you can use both Parallels and VMware Fusion without any issues - just do not share the Boot Camp partition with real Windows 7 installation.

You could try to get Trackpad++ working after you removed the shared virtual machines:

Please install the Power Plan Assistant first and make sure the keyboard backlight can be disabled with this tool. If it's so, then it's a good sign, and everything is ready to install the Trackpad++ again.

Now exit the Trackpad++ Control Module if its '++' icon is still hanging in the tray, i.e. in the Windows notification area (near the clock). Then get the latest build of the Trackpad++ and install it.

Let's pray your shared VMs haven't destroyed the default structure of the Apple HID stack. I mean, they definitely did, but they should have had it restored, if their uninstallation procedure is written correctly...

Please leave some feedback there, whether it helped or not. I will probably add your experience to FAQ.

I think those VMs already messed up with my driver. I gonna reinstall windows 7 to test your trackpad.

Anyway these are the error message from dialogue box for power plan. Hope it may be usefull for your reference.

    1st:

internal error has occurred. please notify support@poweplan7.com

stystem.nullreferencexception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at (  , intPtr)

Object reference not set to an instanace of an object.

    2nd:

internal error has occurred. please notify support@poweplan7.com

stystem.nullreferencexception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at (  , EvenArgs)

Object reference not set to an instanace of an object.

And 2 error dialogue box from trackad++ (unable to communicte with tracpad++ driver)

Anyway, I can feel the trackpadd++ was working as the speed of cursor was changer after reinstalling trackpad. It just that extra feature of 3/4 finger was not running.

Thanks. No wonder you got those messages. Because, again, Power Plan Assistant relies on Boot Camp stack. Untouched Boot Camp stack . Those shared VMs are truly the disaster... Not a good idea to share the Boot Camp partition with virtual machine!

To get everything working: install Windows -> install Boot Camp 3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.2 -> 3.3 (or just 4.0 - I saw Lion drivers are available on some web sites and in Lion Boot Camp Assistant of course, but you cannot download them officially in Snow Leopard) -> install Power Plan Assistant (answer 'yes' in the post-install step!) -> reboot -> install Trackpad++.

I have been using Trackpad ++ on my MBA 11" for quite some time without any problems.  As soon as I upgraded to the latest version (2.1a-x64), my computer is hanging when it resumes from standby with CPU up to 99%.  I have to go to task manager and force an exit from Trackpad ++, and then start the program again manually.  What causes this, and can I go back to the previous version?

Unfortunately, your issue cannot be reproduced, I just tried to enter the sleep and then resume 5 times (with the current 2.1a-x64 build), and CPU load is always 0-1% after resuming. Could you try to install the very latest build again (do not forget to exit the Trackpad++ Control Module first: right-click the '++' tray icon and choose 'Exit'). Then, right after you reboot, please verify that the issue is gone. By the way, do the swiping gestures work for you before sleep? And after?

I have an extremely good news... 3-finger tap has been added! It acts as middle mouse button, allowing a user to open the browser tab in background with a single click. Also, we've got an alternate scrolling - just do a 3-finger tap, then move pointer (i.e. use one finger) to scroll. The normal usage of the middle mouse button, actually

Just any feedback regarding the 3-finger tap is highly apprreciated. Here is the link to a very stable beta version:

    http://powerplan7.com/Trackpad_Plus_Plus_Driver_Control_Module_22a_BETA6_Setup_1 2282011.exe

As always - I am not forcing you to install the beta. But please provide the feedback if you have tried it.

NOTE: the release version from the TechSpot does not yet contain this feature; so, if you wish to try, use only the link above, not the regular link. And please, if you have 64-bit OS and are trying the Trackpad++ for the first time, do not forget install the Power Plan Assistant first!

    Woah! Thanks!!!

Downloaded and installed... will play with it for a little bit and send you my feedback.

First notes of feedback, You should definitely allow people to choose if they want to use this gesture.

But, Works smoothly, love the new feature.

I have to say that Trackpad++ made my windows workflow much smoother.

As matter of fact, I like using the macbook keyboard + trackpad now much more than an external dock(keyboard + mouse).

keep up the good work, the license was well worth it.

btw, the middle click scrolling should be enabled only with a click and not a tap, imho...

    Hi Vladimir,

some questions before I download it:

    - I need left and rightclick, is both possible?

    - Can I configure the trackpad with your sw, for example can I disable some gestures or can I change the speed?

    - Can I try it and easily uninstall if it doesn't work for me?

    Thank in advance for reply

    Tim

    Hi Tim,

A nice coincidence, I was going to post the screen shot of the Trackpad++ GUI and then saw you message.

    Here is a screen shot:

    http://www.trackpad.powerplan7.com/Trackpad_Plus_Plus_GUI.jpg

All the features are visible on this picture.

The right click is there, and it's inherited from the Boot Camp-native functionality, actually.

It's safe to install, and it's definitely not a high math to uninstall. However, I do emphasize: please use the software at own risk. There are no guarantees. But I have a good faith that Trackpad++ works really well. Especially it works well for those who have read and follow the instruction and have the compatible hardware from the white list.

If you decide to try, please leave some feedback there, good or bad.

    Cheers

    Hi Valdimir

Thanks for your great work on TrackPad++, it's has made a big difference using Windows 7 on my Air.

    If you don't mind, I have a few questions/suggestions...

    - For some reason the accelerated scrolling doesn't work for me, it just does normal scrolling (scollling stops as soon as I stop scrolling with the two fingers gesture in Firefox, Chrome... and anything else to be honest!) - is there something I'm missing to enable this by any chance? It happened when I used it on my MB Pro as well

    - The additional gestures are great, but the advanced options are all greyed out, it would be great to be able to disable inidividual gestures (the text zoom is the main one for me, as this I don't really require it above all of the others you've added)... I'm assuming this is coming soon with these being such recent additions?

All minor points for an otherwise great piece of work

Any tips, thoughts or answers to the above would be great - hope you're having a great festive break!

    Hi & Happy New Year!

    Scrolling glossary:

    "Natural Scrolling" - finger moves like if you use a touchscreen device (scrolling direction is inverted vs. what we had in Snow Leopard). Not available in Boot Camp, but available with Trackpad++ (as option);

    "Accelerated Scrolling" - the faster you move the finger, the faster the scrolling is, and vice versa (not available in Boot Camp, but available and activated by default with Trackpad++);

"Scrolling with Inertia" - scrolling "fades out" when you lift the finger. Not available in Boot Camp, and not yet available with Trackpad++.

It seems you thought about the inertial scrolling, and mixed it with accelerated scrolling.

    Hey Vladimir

    I've got a suggestion again...

Is it possible to make sure that the trackpad is disabled when the computer lid is off?

Because it seems that either the 3-finger-tapping is causing a bug or its something else, but

Sometimes when i open my macbook air's lid after it was closed for a while(and the computer isnt on standby),

I've got a lot of tabs opened in my google chrome.

Anyway, something like disabling trackpad when computer lid is off would be good i guess...

    Thanks.
