Jan 6, 2012 2:28 PM in response to Honestby Dah•veed,The iPad can only pair with the iPhone over Bluetooth when you have created a Cellular Hotspot with the iPhone to share a data connection with the iPad. You can only create a Cellular Hotspot with the iPhone if your cellular service provider allows you to with your particular account.

Jan 24, 2012 4:10 PM in response to Dah•veedby Tulse,You're correct, Dav-veed, but the issue is this behaviour is a change that came about with iOS 5 -- prior to that one did not need to create a hotspot to use the Bluetooth control.
