Q: Can't repair boot disk because of FileVault 2 keyboard layout
I've enabled two keyboard layouts since I use a Spanish keyboard on my MacBook Pro. That lets me choose Spanish when OS X asks for my password after a reboot. That was a problem when I first activated FileVault 2, since the US keyboard layout was set automatically as default. I used my recovery key to unlock it and then I set both layouts. Been using FV2 without issues until now that I need to repair my disk.
I rebooted from Lion's Recovery HD System, and Disk Utility asked me to mount the encrypted disk.
"You need a password to unlock this disk".
OK. No matter what I do, I can't choose my Spanish layout to unlock the disk with my Admin password, so it rejects it, just like it did when first I activated FV2. However, this time my recovery key doesn't work, either. I've tried to repair from Lion's Recovery HD System, from a DVD with Lion Installer, and from a USB boot drive. The drive can't be unlocked, and can't be repaired.
It's a minor repair (something about "orphaned blocks"), but what to do when something worse happens?
Any advise would be very appreciated. Thanks.
