hmm, it seems that Mail, Calendars, and Reminders are synched. Contacts are not.
Anyone else having issues with Activesynch and iOS 5.0.1?

Working fine for me. Are you sure Contacts are set to On in the settings for your Exchange account?

I'm also having the same problem. The calendar is synching but not contacts. Contacts are selected to update in the Exchange settings on the iPhone.

I have a problem with contacts aswell but on my iPad....
The contacts sync perfectly, but randomly they start to duplicate, evendough I have the same number of contacts on my exchange server, only the ipad reports duplicates.
anyone seen this problem?

same thing happened to me starting yesterday Jan 11th. my phone went into battery burn mode (hot and battery draining fast), when this happens I delete my accounts and reinstall them. this time contacts did not sync. nothing else changed and I have done this 20 times before. very frustrating.

Have you tried removing the exchange account and readding it? I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1 on both an iPad 2 and iPhone 4 and both work perfectly. May also want to try hard rebooting the device.
