Plug in iPhone to iTunes, click the iPhone name, click info or summary, scroll down click sync iCal
This will be a lot better when cloud comes out

I'm having an issue with iPhone to iCal syncing also. My iPhone calendar contains all my appointments, and iCal on my MacBook Air is blank. I sync manually via USB. No iCloud. iOS 5, Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I recently disabled syncing to MobileMe and removed the iDisk, which is when all my iCal data went away. Everything else sycs fine except the calendar. I'm tearing my hair out for a solution (one that does not recommend I upgrade to Lion or activate iCloud; these are not solutions, but work-arounds).

Try the follow: on your iPhone in the Preferences scroll down to iCloud. In iCloud turn of Calendar.
See you now differences in iTunes to sync your calendar, that you can sync now.
I have iPhone 5 with IOS 6.0.2 and iMac OS X 10.6.8.
