Is my iPhone 4s charging too quickly?

I recently bought a 4s (last week). The battery is a little iffy (I did the first drain and full charge, and charged every night after that) so I decided to do another full drain and charge. I plugged it in less than an hour ago and now it's already at 64%. Is that going too fast?

Unless I'm mistaken iPhones should only take 5amps or something like that, so I want to know if it's alright to continue using that outlet or if there's a battery problem or whatever. I'm using one of those outlet-expanders (2 to 6 slots).

Thanks

    Hi Raeki ,

I had the same query in mind . I observed this a couple of times and i was like wow , my iphone is charging really quickly . But i wouldnt worry too much about it . After its fully charged i get around 5 hours 30 minutes with 20 % remaining .

Can you tell me how much usage you get on a 100 % charge. This question is vital .

    Regards

Unless the battery is very hot, it's charging properly.  The system charges rapidly to begin with and then slowly charges to top off.
