Jan 18, 2012 1:42 PM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby Matt Jamerson, ditto - same here since yesterday. Frustrating as after 4 solid weeks of uploading, I only have 200 tracks left to finish the upload.
No sign of an official line or notice about the issue. I expect this has everything to do with the roll out to the other countries. Seems to be yet another poorly planned and implemented roll out of iTunes Match.
Hope the kinks get sorted out soon.

Jan 18, 2012 2:43 PM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby Evildude,I thought I was the only one with some kind of problem, Last night I ripped a double album with 37 songs and it got stuck on step 2 just like everyone described, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if apple does something about it.

Jan 18, 2012 6:33 PM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby Bobby0724,i think the new countries that apple add to itunes match are the reason of this overload i cant even see my cloud on my ipod touch

Jan 19, 2012 12:17 AM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby carl239,You guys think you have probs, lol 9/3604, Just signed up yesterday.
Wondering if apple will tag these downtime days onto the end of our subscription time.
Also, are songs physically "stored" on the cloud or just referenced in the cloud? If stored i dont think you'd get much change from the 5GB of space if you have thousands of tracks.

This is totally separate from the 5gb iCloud limit. The only limits are 25,000 non iTunes purchased tracks and 200mb per track

Could you see it before on your Touch? I haven't seen anyone else report that problem, and the streaming/downloading side seems to be working fine. If you are having problems with that bit then I suspect it is nothing to do with this issue.

Jan 19, 2012 12:53 AM in response to eeliasby calitb1986,The same is happening for me here (Panamá). I guess their servers are having problems with so many new countries added.

Jan 19, 2012 1:19 AM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby Hypedupthalamus,I have the same problem too, i have tried a number of times to use iTunes match to upload my music, it seems that only music that downloads or is available to be played on all my computers and devices is music purchased through iTunes... iTunes Match sticks on step 2, with 493 of 4064 matched, the 493 is music purchased through iTunes...
My devices do show all my music in my library, but only allows me to play the music purchased from iTunes..
I am from Australia, is this problem particular to certain countries..
Thanks

Jan 19, 2012 2:46 AM in response to Black MacBook Foreverby RichyLucas,Same problem here, stuck on stage 2. Was having great difficulty with iTunes Match as it was, now this is just another ball buster!
Really disappointed with Apple on this (which is very unusal). Great idea in principle, and no doubt it will work well in time, but that does not help those who have paid their money for a service which they are not receiving. Clearly not tested enough prior to release, and clearly releasing it to too many countries/people at a time.
p.s. If it's of any relevance, I'm based in the UK.
