Jan 18, 2012 6:29 PM in response to Allan Eckertby daniel.from.lanus,Hello Allan, thanks for your answer.
But I really do not want to look for my camara type in that link... I am a common user that do not need to know about formats and codecs.
Simple: iPhoto can handle my camara´s video format Aperture NOT!!
Simple question: why a new software (Aperture) can not work better that the old one (iPhoto)? I bought a Aperture assuming that I could do or see the same things, but unfortunatly not...

Jan 18, 2012 6:53 PM in response to daniel.from.lanusby Kirby Krieger,You are responsible for knowing the limitations of software you purchase, and for determining if it meets your needs.
Aperture is not a "new" version of iPhoto. They are different programs designed by different engineers for different uses and different users.
The first thing to find out is if your camera's video format is supported by Aperture. Is it? You can find out by following Allan's perfect advice.

Jan 18, 2012 6:53 PM in response to daniel.from.lanusby Frank Caggiano,If you don't want to look through a simple list for your camera to solve an issue you are having then I'm afraid Aperture is much to advanced an application for you.
Do yourself a favor and stick to your current image software.
