Q: how to enable hardware virtualization support?

I have the same problem!!  I can't seem to find anything anywhere!

I also have this problem. Will post if I find a solution.

Here's another discussion indicatin a solution (an update to Parallels).

When starting parallels under Lion I get this message: "Your virtual machine may run slow because virtualization support is disabled on your Mac.  For optimal performance, please enable hardware virtualization support in your Mac's firmware"

Update parallels.  Close all open windows in mission control and start parallels. It work for me.

When trying to update is it normal for Parallel to tell you that there is no internet connection? A pop up appears when I try to update, but I have internet. Suggestions?

SOLUTION:

Go to parralels, click on the menu, parralels desktop (in the program itself), click on check for updates.

Then update it. Click a bunch of times, takes a while but then after the update is installed it will work.

PS: I hate lion. My mac mail takes 2-5 seconds when I hit reply to open the new email window!

My zoom (option key and scroll) sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. It's horrible.

I'm starting to regret I upgraded to Lion also. It has made both my iMac & MBP slower... I understand why it was so cheap now!
