I have iCal on my laptop and iCal Server running on my server. Every day I am prompted to retype my password in iCal with an error that my password is incorrect (how can it be incorrect if the domain password is used everywhere else fine?). Looking in the iCal server logs I see this error message repeated:

2012-01-22 19:33:25-0500 [-] [caldav-8009]  [PooledMemCacheProtocol, client] [twistedcaldav.directory.appleopendirectory.OpenDirectoryRecord#error] OpenDirectory (node=/Search) error while performing digest authentication for user savarese: ('DirectoryServices Error: Exception raised in file src/CDirectoryService.cpp at line 1078', -14002)

Has anybody seen this error? What does it mean? How do I fix it?

Thanks,

Scott

I'm also seeing this a lot.  It started occasionally happening a few months ago, but lately has been happening to all of my users about 25% of the time.  I'd be happy to post more log info if someone knows what to look for.

    OS X Server 10.6

Any hints would be appreciated, thanks!

After a server restart, I'm seeing the same problem. Any suggestions would be appreiciated.
