Jan 23, 2012 3:54 PM in response to Dan Tooleby Klaus1,Connecting headphones mutes the internal speakers. Or are you saying that you do not get any sound even when no headphones are connected?
If so, you could do worse than carefully cleaning the headphone socket with a toothpick.

Jan 24, 2012 9:57 PM in response to Klaus1by Dan Toole,Hi sorry -- wasn't clear. I have sound with headphones - no problem. I have NO sound with internal speakers since a couple of days ago. Have done the reset of PRAM and nothing changed. So there is clearly a problem with the internal speakers or the link -- but sound does come through headphones so it's not a generic 'sound' problem. Clear? Thanks!
