Jan 24, 2012 1:28 PM in response to Joe Petresby Master.Of.Disaster,Hi,
on your iPhone or iPad (and I'm sure on your mac too) you have the option for reminder.
You can choose between different intervals.
But this isn't a global setting, it's for every appointment individual.
I'm not sure if there's an option for the AddressBook too.
I hope it was useful
I'v also a question.
How did you start running iCal and AddressBook?
Have you got a good link?

Jan 24, 2012 10:55 PM in response to Joe Petresby Joe Petres,Here is what the problem is......
Several Days ago I had used the server.app to configure and turn on iCal server and AddressBook. Client side setup and configuration of the CalDAV account worked great until..... I tried to turn the podcast services along with xGrid on using Server Admin. I rebooted the system repaired some disk permissions and then my wiki and web on the server app reported "error reading settings", upon visiting the default website I got "error reading settings" iCal in server app showed the configuration of delegates and the settings remained the same but was now turned off as was AddressBook. I was not able to restart them. After a Time Machine restore to a point from the previous evening where all was good, the system appared to be back to normal with all those services running. However even with iCal and AddressBook services on, when I goto my mac clients to utilize the service, it simply says it is unable to connect. Does anyone have some information that can help me remedy this issue. It would be greatly appreciated. I can present screenshots of specific output if needed.
Joe

Jan 25, 2012 2:56 AM in response to Joe Petresby Master.Of.Disaster,Hi Joe,
have you made a backup (until it's still running)?
Then restore your system.
I read a lot of blogs and a lot of people (including me) have such problems.
No body knows why...
So restore your system and try it again...maybe it's working again.
