is there any way to find my ipod using my serial number if somebody has stolen it? or any other ways to find it?

Only if you did in stall and activate "Find my iPhone" before the loss: iCloud: Troubleshooting the Find My iPhone app and iCloud: Troubleshooting Find My iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac
The only thing you can do besides that: Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product
