My wife and I are both experiencing this problem on our iPhones (She has the 4 and I have the 4S), and it seemingly started happening after I set up my iCloud account on both phones.  We also both recently upgraded to 5.0.1, so I guess that could be the issue as well.

Thanks so much...I still have the problem and don't think it will be going away until an update.

My problem is still gone and I'm running the same iOS as you.

For the heck of it, reboot your device.

I already do this every evening before bed, so I think that may not be the problem.

I'm just trying to figure out how mine could have suddenly straightened itself out but not yours.

Have you deleted the city and re-added to the app?

That the bug has stopped appearing on your phone would seem to make you the anomaly here. No one else who is contributing to this thread has seen it go away. What's your secret, sparky67?

Ummm "iPod"... this thread is in the iPod forum.

The four or five people posting in my thread out of millions of people using iOS 5 are the true anomaly.

Anyway, I saw the problem firsthand... it's real.  I notified Apple and they confirmed it's real....

Nothing to do now but sit tight and wait.

I went to Orlando over the weekend and kept checking NY weather...at some point, it was telling me it was -4 in Orlando, 14 in Melbourne Fl. No matter what I did, I could NOT get that app to be right---I turned off the phone--I made sure it was updated---could NOT figure it out---

    Today I found it---

    It was on celcius--not Farenheit--duh!

That has absolutely nothing to do with what's being discussed here.

    An update:

I saw this problem return to my device, but on just one occasion about two weeks ago.  Whatever it is, I think it's going to continue to nag certain devices until Apple finds the cause and releases the fix.

Ok isn't the title of this thread Weather App is buggy? I think it qualifies -- I was merely giving a lighter side -- jeez.

And yet yours was not caused by any bug.

When most people are digging through long threads searching for solutions, I don't think they should also have to dig through the clutter of off-topic chatter.

So the whole purpose was to say that I THOUGHT it was a bug--it wasn't. So now, they can also sort through the four extra posts that you caused to happen. Have a nice day.

Just saying that I still have the problem; doesn't occur that often but still a few times a day...
