My apologies for posting this quesiton on this thread. I wasn't able to find a way to message you directly. I have a question regarding one of your posts about controlling ableton running on 2 separate macs. Did you ever find a way to run both simultaneously from one keyboard?

Technically, yes but no...
A KVM switcher allowed me to use one keyboard on both Mac Minis running Ableton, but only one at a time. We used MIDI triggers on the Main computer's playback track to sync the Backup computer's track and stop and start playback as needed.
It's a redundant and automated system, as close as we could get it - all with workarounds. I'm still convinced that if we can put a man on the moon, you can control two computers with one keyboard and mouse simultaneously -
but the evidence is strongly against it... KVM's only allow you to switch back and forth between the two.
