Q: Got iCloud - All music went to iCloud (I guess) - now none ON iPod - can only listen while on Wi-Fi?

I've had tPod touch for a frustrating 2 years. it Was getting filled (32GB) with music, lots of it was duplicate songs that appeared somehow.  When I bought sub. to iCloud last week, it immediately to all music there, and off hard drive.  I wanted to store some there, but I also wanted to keep some on ipod to listen  to when workng - or any other time i have NO WI-FI ACCESS. Now ipod is rendered totally worthless to me as "portable" music player. How can I get music back, and maybe have a say in what I keep on ipod, and what I store in Cloud?
