Jan 28, 2012 4:00 PM in response to dmax2500by ds store,wjosten,
is mistaken, his link is to remove the MacDefender malware, which MacKeeper is very close to being, but it's not the same.
CMCSK,
supposedly running the MacKeeper removal by their method results in phishing of information etc before it departs.
dmax2500
This developer here has a more through removal method and information, I'd advise people recommend and use his advice instead of listening to anything from those horrid developers at MacKeeper.

Also PLEASE contact Apple to remove this crap, there is a link on Phil Stokes page.

Feb 1, 2012 12:29 PM in response to CMCSKby rjmedia,I just got rid of it myself. Find the App icon in your Applications folder and drag it to the trash. You should then get a window that asks if you want to uninstall. Also, remove the App's icon from your dock. Empty your trash and restart your Macbook.

Jul 19, 2012 10:37 AM in response to Eistolsisby mr da,Which link doesn't work? The applehelpwriter link? I just tried it and it loads fine. Could mackeeper be blocking it somehow? If so, you might want to try viewing the instructions from a different machine.
