Q: Icons Are Haning Off the Right Side

Well this is odd.

 

Any idea how to these icons back where they are supposed to be?

Other than trashing preferences?

No matter what I try inside Aperrture, the icons are always cut off like that.

 

I've Tried:

Quit and relaunch.

Reboot.

Browser > Swap

Browser > Rotate

 

Browser View

Split View

Viewer View

Show/Hide Control Bar

 

Nothing seems to get the icons back.

Try booting in Safe-mode.  (Just keep sending the address -- the page will load.)

 

I'm pretty sure trashing prefs will resolve this.  Before that, you can also try changing your screen size, rebooting, and then changing it again.

 

This is a known bug, but should be reported:  "Aperture→Send Aperture Feedback".

    Hello Kevin,

     

    I'd suggest to  trash the Preferences - the preference file contains the parameters for the default GUI settings.

    I quit Aperture.

    I then changed the display resolution of my second display via System Preferences.

    I changed it from it's default value to a smaller value and then back to it's default value.

    I then re-launched Aperture and the icons were back to normal.

    Note that I did not reboot, simply toggled the display's resolution.

     

    I must have triggered this issue the other day when I was playing around with the resolution of my second display. I suppose I should have noticed the coincidence.

     

    I will report this to Apple.
