Feb 2, 2012 2:54 AM in response to dsdreamerby depp086,Same here... It seems apple don't care about user with older mbps. so sad.. So I have to rename the .kext file again.

Feb 2, 2012 3:02 AM in response to depp086by StevenLu,Maybe we should report this here:
Attach a screenshot.
Hopefully apple will fix this problem.
In my opinion it can't be the solution, to "rename kext files".

Feb 21, 2012 7:11 AM in response to depp086by StevenLu,Hi all,
some time ago i filled a bugreport and now i send a full system profile. Maybe you should to the same, so they recognize that it isn't only a problem of one person. We should try this for a fix in 10.7.4 ;-)
And in the worst case we will see how it goes on in 10.8.x ;-) But i hope it will be fixed by Apple soon..!
So fill the Bugreport!

Mar 3, 2012 9:19 PM in response to ricardofromzoetermeerby jmicklos,I am seeing this issue on 2 different Apple laptops. I am seeing this on a Macbook Pro and a Macbook. The MBP is my personal machine and did not start exhibiting this behavior until I upgraded to lion. I went through the process of doing the hardware test with no issues being reported. The Macbook is my work machine. I was not experiencing any issues with it until I upgraded to lion (last week) and am now experiencing the same type of distortion behavior.

Mar 3, 2012 9:34 PM in response to jmicklosby dsdreamer,@jmicklos, are you seeing this behavior in any particular application? Or are all applications impacted?
I found that Google's Chrome web browser was more likely to trigger a problem than other applications, particularly on pages that involve Flash video content. However, this was not 100% true; it happened once in Nook for Mac from Barnes and Noble, and it occasionally happens in Safari, but the glitches in Safari are short-lived and don't tend to stay on the screen such that I could get screenshot of them.

Mar 3, 2012 9:43 PM in response to dsdreamerby jmicklos,@dsdreamer: I find the same to be true about chrome being the worst offender. However, I have seen this happen in other applications as well.

Mar 4, 2012 9:00 AM in response to jmicklosby StevenLu,Hi,
what graphic chips do you have in your MacBook and MacBookPro?!
-
Mar 4, 2012 10:07 AM in response to StevenLuby jmicklos,@StevenLu: I suppose my post isn't terribly helpful without some stats Sorry about that:
MBP:
13-inch, Mid 2010
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (11D50)

Apparently, both my personal and work machine are near identical. It seems that both of them hav the NVIDIA GeForce 320M that others on this thread are experiencing problems with.

Apr 11, 2012 2:39 AM in response to Dogbert16by EltonT,Macbook Pro 13" 2010
This started happening to me since april last year, took it to apple at least 3 times, all they did was replace the display. The problem obviously wasn't to do with the display but the so-called "geniuses" insisted it was a software problem even after memory, harddrive swaps and several reinstalls of the OS. Apple needs to fire all their mentally challenged store staff. Now that I'm out of warranty, I have a defective mbp.

Apr 12, 2012 9:31 AM in response to ricardofromzoetermeerby sebasrodriguez,I'm also having the same issue, 10.7.3 is out and the problem still persists.
The problem is that I can't take a screenshot of the issue because it happens so fast
that it's impossible to do it.
I'm going to file a bug report without screenshot to make some noise so apple takes this
problem into consideration.
