just made a personal version of the keynote title in FCPX and saved it. it appears in FCPX but it is obviously unable to read it and the title thumbnail appears as a single blue screen, if this is added to project FCPX fails miserably and crashes, yes a blue screen of death on a mac. how can i stop this or edit a title and save it correctly.

this fella is having the same problem.

Did you start it as a Final Cut Title project in Motion? Or did you choose "Open a Copy in Motion" for the existing title in FCP X's Titles Browser? If the former, did you publish it? Why do you say "obviously unable to read it?"

Not sure exactly what you are doing.

I tried and couldn't reproduce, this with the latest FCP X(10.0.3)  and Motion (5.0.2).  What versions are you using?  I also noticed that! looks like the user from th post you linked to found a solution by deleting the apps and re-installing.

FCPX on my new iMac crashes repeatedly. Geniuses say I need more RAM. Managers say 4gigs "should be enough." I need help! Apple is ruining my business with bad advice and deplorable customer service. Please see my website: durandpro dot com for details. Isn't there anyone with a soul at Apple? This is disgraceful. Thank you. Michael Durand
