I have been downloading movies for .99 cents and now they don't show up... So where are they and what's going on? Anyone know?

Once they have completed their download, they will appear on the left hand side of iTunes under LIBRARY, in a item called Rental with a ticket icon. You have 30 days to watch your movie and 48 hours to finish viewing the movie from the time you click Play.

There is now a 99 cent Rental of the Week. Singular. 1/2 click on Movies (press down-no release) to see it, or on the main Movies page you should see it as a featured item, just under New to Rent or Own. At least that is what I see in the US store.

There are other places to rent, but I have no idea what they charge or what the experience is like.

In Canada it appears under Movies as "Great Movies, Great Prices".

It's weird that on my iPad, there is still a 99 cent section in the iTunes store.  But using iTunes on my Macbook, I can't find it...

I hope they restore this.  There must be a link to it I wish I could figure out how to dig that out of the iPad

I noticed this, too. There were a lot of movies on sale for 5.99 or less during the holidays, As a new Apple TV user, I bought a few movies on sale. Now I have a Genius recommendation section but there is no longer a section for movies on sale.

On my iPad, I can still find discounted movies if I go to the "99¢ Movie Rentals Plus More" section, then there are sections for 99¢ Rentals, Limited Time $4.99 Movies, Less Than $6, but these categories don't seem to be available in iTunes.

Starying a little OT here, since the OP was asking about rentals, not purchases, I noticed there is now a category in iTunes that is currently called "Something for Everyone" that has a lot of movies on sale. Many of these are listed at 4.99 or 5.99.

There is still a "99¢ Movie Rentals Plus More" on my iPad. But inexplicably, there is still no clear cateory, or way to search for, discounted movies in iTunes. Seems like a mistake on iTunes part, since I can quickly search for and find discounted movies in Amazon to watch on my Tivo. About the best solution I've found right now is to make a wish list and watch the prices for sales.

I've been looking for it also, and thanks to the hint from JD Knight III, I just found it on the Canadian store: iTunes store -> Movies -> Movie Rental of the Week, then scroll down to see 'Top 99¢ Rentals'.

I checked iTunes and that link does not seem to be there in the US Store. I really wish they had better organization in the store - I would definitely rent and buy more movies if I could regularly find the ones on sale.

I'm actually glad they don't organize it any better. I waste too much $$$ at the store as it is
