The Apple Development Team are not here - this is a user to user forum only.
Send feedback to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

Thanks for your reply. As you suggested, I forwarded this bug to Apple directly. Well, let's see if they fix the bug in near future.

The bug is still on iOS5, and become more than frustrating!

I spoke with the Apple Support team and they suggested to post this bug via the Apple Bug Reporter (https://bugreport.apple.com/). Unfortunatelly, you need a developer account to enter this site. Due to the fact, that I haven't got such an account, I would be glad if someone else could post this bug on the mentioned site.
Is there anybody who could undertake this task?

as far as I know the bug is fixed in Hotmail Outlook Connector now. But in the Windows Phone Mango release the bug is still active in "some" cases (for birthdays in the winter time everything is fine and for birthdays in summer time the bug is still there - or vice versa ).
Does Apple plan to fix that bug somehow? As the bug can be fixed with a new release of Outlook connector and partly fixed in the new Windows Phone release it should be a failure in the code of the mobile devices and not with the Hotmail servers - so Apple developers have to work on that.
Does anybody know when this annoying bug will be fixed?

It would appaer that the bug has been fixed (unless it was "fixed" on my eGroupware server). However, the bug is still present in iOS5.0.1 for CardDAV sync and for any other contact app than the apple contacts app.

It's almost one and a half years since the last post on this thread, but I still seem to have the same problem.
Just synced the contacts between Outlook 2010 and the latest IOS release, and they are still delayed by one day. It's really a shame that this has not been fixed yet...

Agreed! At least it will be visually appealing in iOS 7 ;-)
