Feb 14, 2012 4:14 AM in response to Pezby Carolyn Samit,★HelpfulWe both have iphones with seperate icloud accounts but share the same itunes account for purchases.
Much better to create two user accounts which will help keep email accounts separate and you can "share" iTunes purchases.

Feb 14, 2012 4:35 AM in response to Pezby softwater,OS X, being a Unix derivative, is account-based and is ideally suited for exactly the kind of arrangement you have in mind.
Windows only latterly started to understand the necessity of user accounts, which is part of the reason behind the seemingly innocuous but wholly significant use of the terms 'Log in' in Mac = you log in to an account and 'log on' in Win = you log on to the computer.
In short, make two user accounts, and mac will keep everything in order for you. If you enable 'fast user switching' you can easily swap places at the keyboard without rebooting the whole system.
