Please reread the post I made earlier here about using BOX.
You may not share a file in the manner that you posted above. That URL only applies to your unique login. No one else may use it.
You need a link that looks like this http://www.box.com/s/ddqn19c9phbkhlfeszsg
You must click on share as seeen in the screen shot below
This will offer you these choices...
Choosing get Link yields the URL you need for others to view that file. This is not a direct link as they will need to login in to their own Box account to view or download your linked file. A direct link option costs money in a BOX Upgrade such as used by Enterprise.
Here are some options you can set with the free BOX acount if you choose Open Access.
EVeryone who wants to take advantage of these free files from a BOX account should at a minimum have a Free Box account of their own, a BOX user ID. and a BOX password to login with.
Just 4Phun check it out

This should work - let me know ...
Fast thinking Fabe
While I was thinking about sending you the above post in the thread I saw you already figured out what was wrong. Your above link as quoted worked perfectly. It threw me back into BOX without my loging in again as I stay logged in all the time. I could then click on download to grab your empty template.
I also verified another trick which will be part of a new thread. You can mix templates in a book!

Thank you for the blank template, I have been trying to do the same thing with no luck yet.
But I did figure-oun how to embed the templates into iBooks Author so they show up when you
start the program , it's a small hack but works just fine.

Fabe, thanks for posting this.
I have one question though- when I enter text in one orientation, nothing appears in the other. Is there a way to enable automatic generation of Portrait view from Landscape or vice versa?

I figured it out. I was having trouble because the first text section you have to add is the 'body'. Once I had hat set up, I could add the other areas, tag them, and check 'share with portrait'.

I am having a similar problem using the plain and generic template, but I can't figure out how to implement the steps you describe. Specifically, what is the "body" text and where can I find the "share with portrait" checkbox?
Thanks for your help!
