The combination of left shift key and o no longer produces a capital o, just nothing.  The right shift key and o produces O and all other keys are capitalised with the left shift key.  This has just stopped working today.  I use a bluetooth apple wireless keyboard and no Sound commands are selected for this key.

I have a similar problem. Using either shift key and "3" no longer produces "£" but produces "#" instead.

Up until a yesterday to get "#" I had to use ALT and "3". Now that combination produces "£"

i e The process is reversed. Not a major problem as long as I remember whch way round to work, but it is frustrating. No other keys are affected and I would prefer to have it working the correct way so any suggestions gratefully received.

I have a PowerBook G4 and I have this same problem. I try to use the left shift key and I can capitalize all letters except with the O key. When I hold down left shift and press O it doesn't do anything. When I use right shift and press O it will work perfectly not just with the left shift+O. So I am definitely positive that it has to be an issue the OS.

I'm having the exact same problem. My left shift key works with every other key, except with o. I can capitalize with my right shift O but not the left shift. It simply doesn't type anything.

I'm having the same problem, but with the upper case "T" and the left shift, as well as the delete key, which is stuck in forward-delete. I can get the keyboard to stop doing the forward-delete by removing it from the list of keyboards in the bluetooth panel and pairing it again, but can't get the left shift to make a capital "T," and as soon as I hit the left shift button, the delete key is stuck on forward-delete again.

Wish someone would find an answer.

I purchased a new keyboard on amazon and was able to replace it myself. It's fairly simple, and inexpensive. Fixed the issue for me.

Just gave up on the Apple Wireless and bought a wired keyboard. Works better and no battery sucking!
