Q: XGRID Blocking API

I've been getting this strange error lately. It repeats constantly.  Any ideas?

Jan 18 09:32:44 podcaster xgrid[43058]: gss_init_sec_context is called on main thread, its a blocking api

Jan 18 09:32:49 podcaster xgrid[43065]: gss_init_sec_context is called on main thread, its a blocking api

This is a 10.7.2 server used for Podcast Producer.

There are no other error messsages besides a clamav error

Thanks!

Xserve, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I'm having the same problem, with the same error. Any podcasts I publish with Podcast Publisher or Podcast Capture don't publish either. The user who published the podcast is added to the atom feed in the library, but no podcasts (the acutal audio or link to a particular podcast) are added to to the library.

    We're a school too running 10.7.3 Server.

My logs are filling up with the same error.  Fortunately, I'm having no issues with podcast production.  If that is happening to three of us all at different institutions there must be a common cause.

    Apple?

This is a fairly harmless warning message. It means one of the xgrid agents is calling a GSSAPI function on the main thread, which may delay the thread until it's completed. It doesn't mean that any error is occurring, just a warning, intended for the developer, that it may be better to call this function on a background thread.
